Question about Mongoose Little Black Books

Mongoose
Hi all,

I have some questions about the Mongoose LBB titles:

1) I've seen conflicting reports--does an LBB edition contain the larger format text in its entirety, or are some things (e.g. footnotes) missing?

2) Does the LBB High Guard include the corrected/errata'd text, or is it the text of the earliest printing?

3) Will there be a LBB for the 2nd edition of Mercenary?

Thanks!

I'm missing something. Mongoose makes LLBs? We're talking small format LLBs ala Classic Traveller?

Thank you! Was not aware of these. I have and only know the large format Mongoose book. Looks like they're just the same book in smaller size so no special corrections.

What are the regular Mongoose books, Large Black Books? :)

Yes, the name Little Black Books was abbreviated to LBB to differentiate it from the Large Black Books, or LBB. . . Um, wait. I think I see where the confusion comes from.

To be Crass.....

No Mongoose makes Little Black Books like some of the GW Editions of Traveler, except they are perfect bound and the wrong size....

A LBB is Digest sized (8 1/2 by 5 1/2) and Saddle Stapled bound.

Thus Mongoose does not make LBBs......

(This is completely a tongue-in-cheek argument which in no way reflects reality kinda :D )

I have the MGT Core rules in LBB format, it hurts my old eyes to read it text is small.

That's the other problem with them.... As they are shrunk to fit instead of being formated for digest size.
