Ok...We have rolled the Convoy scenario twice now in our campaign and have yet to see the attacker even come close to winning...are we missing something? The scenario states that for a Battle Level game there will be 8 frieghters AND 5 battle level points worth of defending ships...while the attacker only gets 3 points of ships. Its normal victory points except that you get and extra 2 points for getting freighters off the board or blowing them up (defending or attacking respectively). Well, in our games the 5 points of defending fleet totally PUMMELS the 3 points of attacking ships before you can ever get 2 freighters blown up. It just seems a VERY VERY VERY lopsided battle. Technically speaking, the attacker has to destroy 5 freighters to come out ahead, while avoiding the 5 points of defending military vessels...which would be almost impossible in a normal game, yet alone one where they have other targets to worry about. What are we missing here fellas??? We have to be doing something wrong...we've used large attacking ships and a horde of smaller ships (much less effective than the larger ones). Fill us in please. Thanks.
