Qe Class Battle ships, help.

Afternoon,

Ok so looking through VaS and following the converstions on my previous topic re 15" Mark 1 and 2 turrets.

We have in OoB stat cards for Barham and Malaya, the least modified of the class, a stat card for Warspite a modified example of the class but none for Queen Elizabeth and Valiant which were the most exstensively modified vessels of the class.

The VaS stat cards for the class, I presume to be officially incorrect.

So were can I find a correct stat card for these two ships?

I'd think that they would be exactly the same as Warspite for the purposes of the game.

Well I would have thought that, but as the two references in OoB relating to the QE class do not mention Valiant and Queen Elizabeth. Then in some gaming circles they will not allow that, as they are not listed against the class.

So I take it the refit that Valiant and Queen Elizabeth had was not as good as Warspite's. So in VaS game terms they do not get the armoured deck or 42" guns of Warspite from OoB.

Warspite doesn't get 42" ranged guns. As noted elsewhere (I've lost track of which thread) the 42" thing was an error.

So all 3 of the heavily modernised QE's get a 33" gun range, which ones get an armoured deck?

Is there an erata I can download which covers off any typo's which occured in OoB?

Yes, only the three modernised ones get the 33" range. I have a nasty feeling that the "armoured deck" was a typo (on my part, rather than a production cock-up) since the revisions to the horizontal armour protection on all three modernised QEs (QE, Valiant, Warspite) was broadly similar.

Not sure about an errata - there is probably one somewhere on the MGP site.
