Psi-Corp ships

Mongoose
So I'm painting up my Nemesis. I've heard that this ship will be taken out of the EA lists and given to a 4th EA fleet - the Psi-Corp. Just so I can get some kind of uniformity could someone answer these questions:

Besides the Nemesis, Shadow Omega, and Shadow Hunter what other current ships will fall into the Psi-Corps list?

Will any of the Psi-Corp ships be usable by other races?

Will any other races' ships be usable by the Psi-Corp?

I'm not looking for spoilers, just some direction.

I'm in no way official, but I've read enough previews and know enough about B5 to make a fair stab at an answer.

I'd expect that any of the EA ships would be available to the Psi Corps, probably as Earthforce units assigned as support rather than Corp operated. I believe they'll have exclusive ships in addition to the ones you've mentioned such as the Psi-Corps mothership (looked like a converted Asimov in the show I think) and I've seen a preview of what looks like a converted freighter too. The only others I can think of is the Black Omega Starfury wings, perhaps even Thunderbolts (also heard rumours of Shadowtech-enhanced Starfuries too !). Doubt very much whether any alien ships would be usable with them or that any other fleet would have access either.

Other than the Black Omega fighters I'd imagine that all the Corps ships would follow standard EA colour schemes, possibly with black replacing blue. EA support definitely will. Think the mothership was white or light grey with black markings where the Asimov usually has green.

Psi Corps ships:

Black Omega starfury
Shadowfury
Shadowcloak
Fighter Carrier
Mothership
Hunter
Shadow Omega
Nemesis

Psi Corps will be able to requisition EA ships for their fleets (think allies)

I'm not sure I like the idea of a Hunter flying alongside an Omega! What, the Omega just goes home afterwards and forgets it saw an evil black spider-like craft under the control of Psi Corps?

"Shadowcloak"?

13 days to go.

is that 13 days to go till release, or 13 days to go until the releae date gets revised?

nothing been sent out to the "second tier" guys so far.

"Thou vile, cruel and inhuman wretch...."

They will have several P13 telepaths around...so basically, yes.

"Now we just need to administer an eye test.."

Bit hard to do that to the entire crew of what, several thousand? Too easy to miss someone.

We playtesters haven't seen the laid-out fleet book either.

Call me a pessimist if you like, but it is looking increasingly likely that this "2nd tier" was just a hoax all along. With 12 days until the promised availability date at the open day and 35 days until worldwide release, I find it pretty unlikely the 2nd tier thing will actually happen.

Shadows might.

Heck, Earth Alliance might.

Well the Shadows don't tend to fight alongside their allies. The EA, in theory, don't know that the Psi Corps have any military capability, over and above a few Black Omegas, so they are unlikely to call on the Psi Corps as allies.

On the other hand, Psi Corps' influence goes a long way up the chain of command, and should a Psi Coprs fleet commander require an Omega destroyer for an operation, he would be able to get one.

In the context of the series, there are captains and crews who will carry out orders and not do what is right.

Any battle in game stretches the boundaries of series credibility a little. How likely is it that the ISA will fight the Dilgar? We know Psi Corps has ships, but real conflict involving them is unlikely, but its fun to use them in the game.

But as soon as they did, the EA would know the Psi Corps have military capabilities over and aboce a few Black Omegas...

But also in the context of the series, if this were to happen, at least one crew member of the Omega would leak the existance of a Psi Corps fleet, and the fact they have a big black spidery ship on their side.

I feel that it goes against the fluff and style of the Psi Corps to call in EA ships. Sure they might have the clout to do it, but it would ruin their whole master game plan.

Yes, the one still floating outside after the Omega has been blown up - and HE would be called delirious because of oxygen deprivation. Wait, sound familiar somehow...

But basically the Hunter was built (or reactivated or whatever) on a human base, so there are at least some humans and crews who would go along with it, and these would be carefully selected, scanned and telepathically tuned to obey and keep quiet...
