Proxy Hopes and Dreams

Gauntlet-

Banded Mongoose
So Mcfarlane is making Halo Toys... their 'Series 1' is coming out very soon. Notably this series includes a Ghost, Brute Chopper, and a Warthog.

Now I know not all of you are fans of the game, and that is certainly respectable, but I see allot of potential in these die cast toys.

Namely because they are 4 inches long... which is basically perfect scale for our game. You can also get 1 of each for a small discount...

Now why do we need this? The MI don't have a fast vehicle, and the Skinnies have their speeder models...

But the Skinnie Models might become hard to find, or new rules might give us new vehicles, so these are a possibillity. But more importantly is what we very well might get out of Mcfarlane in the long run.

I speak of course of a Pelican Dropship and Covenant Phantom, if we are lucky these will come out with their 'series 3' and be relatively well sized for our use in miniature gaming. The Pelican Dropship would make a wonderful Slingshot, and if the Skinnies have any new air-support then the Phantom would suffice.

So that is my hopes and dreams for proxies.

1/43 and 1/48 models are to scale. Modern LAVs work pretty well -
