grrr...

They are frickin cool! I would love to own some

I am gonna have to start really thinking about SST. I don't think I'm putting enough effort in. :?

I'm rather embarrassed by my clean painting schemes.

Dirtifying my :evo force.

Very sweet conversions, Mr. Evil! Like we would expect anything less from you... :D

I have been looking at the original mini and the "finished" marauders and I can see for the most part how you did them. Any chance of you telling us just what the MechWarrior figure is so that the rest of us can have a go at this conversion? Also, how is the venerable actually attached to the Marauder? I can't see any kind of a harness that you made; did you just use a glob of green stuff to stick them together? Wait a minute... Scratch that. There is a harness there! And you used the old head of the mini upside down to make the harness, right? Please enlighten us mere peons that we may bask in your glory! And of course make some of these beasties for ourselves... :D

well you guesed right

its the MechWarrior Vanguard #057 GHK-S3F-M Goshawk (G) 4 of them cost me less than $2 plus about $4 for postage lol

the head is taken of and then taken apart into its 2 parts, then used to build the harness.

there is a little shaving away on both figs to make them fit but thats pretty simple to do, as for greenstuff not a dab was used !!!! i built all 3 in under an hour.

il do a how to guid with step by step pics after tourny, cant have every body copying me for tourny now can i !!!!

ok final pics of project skinnie, this is a 2k force the venerable with a visor is acting comander for the moment, as im doing a suprise conversion for proper commander of the force :)

enjoy, oh and i got rid of shiny ness with a dusting of mat varnish curtosy of humbrol.

The visor is too shiny for this army, which looks like hell :D .IMHO

well if hell is a good thing ! thanks !!!! lol if it means crap,, ho hum :( hehehe

as for shinny visor im waiting for pva glue on visor to dry then dull visor down with tamia smoke, this gets rid of thet glow and yellow edge.

and like i said hes a stand in mini ;)

NO!
looks like hell is very positive imho.
sth like

motherf*, he has stolen my car
comper to;
motherf*, he alone killed all enemies, we've won!
like bastard etc.

I really like Your painting although I don't like skinniess models.

I'll get my coat

They are amazingly cool. I really wish I had converting skill like yours. I kind of like my bright coloured skinnies, but I do also like your alien camoflage. You will have to go through how you did them with me at the tourney, I would be most intrigued.
If I'm allowed to 'steal' the conversion idea that is.
I actually hate my venerables, they take a day to paint and are so boring, each one that is.

Good luck at the tourney. :D
