about the models in a relistic aspect how do they not fall over, those rocket packs look pretty heavy.

No, they look decent mate.

The colours look laien, what is pauslible as laien techno camoflauge, and don't look too loud. The go well together and are not mismatched.

With the visors on them, mayhe leave just the shoulder ones. As for the shiled covering the entire models, it could be invisible and onyl appear when it is hit, like the shields on the enterprise.

As for putting soldier or guard heads on the venerables, why not use cheap raider ones with the visor closed up and painted over. They would look more like the gorgeous art from the army book.

cheers guys, ive been considering going maroon on them, with some gold bits but maybe il stick to this scheme for now, as majority of troops are done like this now.

just arrived in post today my bits for my maruaders. so should complete the army next week family commitments pending.

Could you send me a detailed guide for the venerable maruaders you're creating (via PM), as I would like to make some myself. Im tempted to follow the 4 legged walkers or the stocky 2 legged ones in the concept art.

well ive painted the qurtering on them just need to ink wash them then shade and weather them a bit and paint the pilots skin, then base, so should be finished tomorrow may put some more pics up later tonight if you like a inprogress shot
