Problems with print versions from wargames vault?

Just ordered one and the file that downloaded had a revision date of October 2012 in the front. Please tell me this is an error of some sort as the one form the Mongoose website doens't say that!

I've contacted wargames vault too but am chasing both ends to see if this is a simple error or a more major one! It would massively damage my faith in this game if print versions don't match the rulebook on the mongoose website.

Just recieved this reply so cudos to Waragmes Vault and their customer service -

Customer Service, Apr 03 05:27 pm (EDT):

Hello,
I apologize for any inconvenience.
This version, the one updated October 16 of 2012, is the most recent one the publisher has uploaded to our servers and is, to the best of my knowledge, the one of which you will be receiving a print copy. If this is unsatisfactory, I would be happy to process a refund for you.
Please let me know which you would prefer.
Thank you for your business and please feel free to contact me with any further questions or concerns.

Mike - Will the newer version be uploaded soon?

I can see what has happened :)

Wargame Vault have the latest file for print (don't worry, your hardback will be fine - I have a pile of them sitting right next to me now), they just don't seem to have the latest for download :)

We'll get that sorted - in the meantime, your hardbacks will be the latest edition, as is the copy on our own web site.

Damn. Had cancelled the order and received a less pleasant email telling me to be sure to click on the right link in future if the PDF is what I want from someone else at wargames vault. I've let them know what you've said Matt as it now appears at least be person there got it wrong leading to cancelling the order!

At and apologies for mike not Matt in my previous post.

Excellent, any chace of posting pics for the rest of use to ooohh and aaahhh over and then get jealous and greedy and buy a copy or two for ourselves?

Since you asked, some photos of my copy.

The nice, shiny cover...

For what it's worth, the book itself seems to be excellent quality.

I don't normally buy book for things I can download (benefit of having acces to a photocopier connected to a pc at work - printing rulebooks :D ) but this book is really well made and beautiful.

A recommended purchase to support an excellent game. I'm taking mine to my gaming group on Monday - we're currently playing RPGs but are planning a campaign so I'm tyring to tempt people into paying up and supporting it!
