That's cos it is now April and this month's releases are on the front page.

It is so obvious when you put it like that :)

Worryingly perhaps, P&P wasn't in the Planet Mongoose list of books that showed up at the offices today, still on for April? Hope so what with the tourney in early May.

No.

PDFs probably are books of the future, but I personally hope that future is a long way off. . .

So will it be released in PDF at all then? I know I only ever buy PDFs as opposed to books if they are both available. I much prefer the search capability on my computer to any index ;-).

Cheers, Gary

Isuspect it will, about 1 month after the book.

Speaking of Matt, since Dragonmeet SW has been moved till June, what's the release date for P&P, it's going to be tight to get a copy before the tourney.

I would preorder it, but my postie has a habitof folding books in half to fit through my letter box

It's not a tourney, it's a campaign weekend :P

A) Either way I need P&P before I show up

B) No doubt due to a copy and past error, the campaign pack for May refers to ships being refitted as the tournament goes on

But your point is taken.

LBH

EDIT: ANd I'd still like to know the release date

Why don't they just put the parts needed for the tourney, sorry campaign weekend, up on the forum as a free download with a book version available to purchase on the day - I will certainly be buying one.

I wouldn't see it detracting from sales and would help everyone prior to the event!

Or pop up to our office - we'll have a game as well (perhaps of those rules I sent you earlier :)).

Hey Matt, hope these are test rules for an official Third Space Cruiser?

Matt, I may take you up on that, but not until you get P&P in stock.

@Kickaha, I don't think Matt would mind me telling you what we're talking about, but Ted Chang sure would.

LBH
Never mess with the Chang

EDIT: Matt also mentione dit would be aweek or two till P&P is released

My post was more of a statement rather than a question, but thanks for your answer anyway LBH. Interesting clue there I think.

Only know Ted Chang by reputation, but what a reputation, so agreed - no messing, (even more so if, gulp !!!!, Mr Chang happened to be under the influence of the Eldritch Powers).

& Very good to hear that P&P is definitely in sight for this month. Time to get some of my unpainted spacestations sorted.

I've met Ted, nice guy if you can get on his good side, Great MAker alone knows how I managed to do that though.

But all I'll say is his reputation is deserved, and be very careful about asking to be introduced to 'Eunice'.

Got the following from Matt when I asked about P&P availability:

Hopefully, it will be waiting for me when I get back next week. The latest
it will be is the week after.

Cutting it fine methinks.

EDIT: Not as fine as I thought, for some reason I thought the campaign was the 2nd/3rd of MAy, it's the 9th/10th, d'oh!

I should like to know what iteration of the space station rules made it in to P&P. Was it the version we'd thrashed out as a group or the original playtest one? I know which one I'd like to see as not only a fair version but fun too (just think, Vorlon and Shadow Planet-Killers in a balanced game...)

For anyone interested, my pre-ordered copy of P&P arrived today. Really wasnt expecting it till next week sometime.

And it even came with a free novel called 'El Sombra' :D

An Abaddon book no doubt?
