As much as I hear people talk about D&D when they discuss tabletop roleplaying games, I love it when I hear someone mention Legend at some point.
The other day, I actually had a chat with someone about Legend and explained what it was about to them. They'd not heard of any other roleplaying games than D&D, so this was a chance to talk about Legend itself, rather than bring up RuneQuest.
I showed them my now well-worn copy of Legend Core Rulebook - I'll need to get a spare soon (I always keep spares of the books I love) - and we ended up swapping email addresses and I wrote down the Mongoose Publishing and DriveThruRPG website URLs so they could take a look at what the game was about, and maybe grab themselves copies of the Core Rulebook for a buck online.
As well as the sourcebooks already available.
Humans, you should have seen the looks on their faces when I showed them my copy of Legend.
