Polish Navy

I recall some weeks ago a all for the minor navies of the world to be represented in VAS. Having done the Russians, which have appeared in S&P, I have turned my attention to the Poles (it was going to be the Swedes but another project got me thinking Polish). All being well their stats should be completed in a day or so, ready to be ripped apart by everyone telling me I've got the PLs wrong :)

There aren't many of them, and the biggest thing they have is a pair of ex-RN "D" class destroyers, but they could be fun to play with (and they have some nice subs!).

Just looking for any ideas as to what aircraft I should include. Any thoughts?

Surcouf was done and dusted AGES ago and has been submitted to S&P for publication. Give Matt or Ian a nudge if you want to see it published soon!

btw, one of my Polish navy chums popped up and suggested which aircraft to include so thats sorted, and I've found some decent ship pics so the Polish list is finished. I have it in PDF if anyone is interested in seeing it, and will post it to my website once its been reviewed.

Don't know who Ian is, and I've never met Matt, so I can't really give them a nudge can I(thats a play on words).

Anyway, Polaks, is this going to be a German reserve fleet or a Soviet reserve fleet :P ?

Do you have any plans to do the Dutch navy? Five light cruisers in 3 classes and 8 destroyers in two classes would make a nice little add to the UK in the Pacific.

Instructions for making up the Swiss Navy.

Step 1- Procure a genuine Swiss Army knife.

Step 2- Procure a large piece of cork, preferably of swiss origin (or at the least buy it from a Swede).

Step 3- Attach said knife to cork with a firm grip.
Step 4- Throw into nearest source of standing water.

Drink the French champagne that had the cork in it that was probably placed there by Swiss Customs (why waste a good bottle of bubbly, eh?). Then toss the bottle over your shoulder and wait for it to break and there you have it, the Swiss Navy!

Really, no aspersions on the Swiss, as they are indeed limited to those patrol craft DM mentioned. Their Air Force is first rate, however!

I agree, it needs attention as anyone playing early Pacific Battles needs them available. Java Sea anyone?

British allies, or an interesting "Escape from Gdansk" scenario against 1939 Germans.

"Ian" and "Matt" would be Ian Barstow (S&P) editor and Matthew Sprange (head honcho). Shame on you for not knowing that :)

I might have a crack at the Dutch if I get a spare few hours. Probably include their planned battlecruisers too.

A very good mate of mine is Polish, and they actually find the word 'Polak' offensive.

Oh, sorry, didn't realize polak was a derogatory term... oh well 8)

ANYWAY, I DEMAND that you do the navies of Scandinavia: Norway, Finland, Sweden, and I suppose, Denmark.
