has anyone seen some kind of points calculator for SST that would also be good for BF:Evo. If you have any kind of idea on what to do let me know and I will see about putting it into some kinda useable fomat as a plug and play type thing.

I wanna convert some of my local players into mongoose heads and wanna do it by allowing them to play with there minis that they already have.

Point calculator as in type in stat and it gives you point value? Yeah. It's called playtesting :lol:

Perhaps referring to an Army builder? Well, there is an SST file for Army Builder 3, which could be of use if that's what you were after.

If anyone fancies making a thingy for Army Builder 3 for SST and BF Evo I would happily use it.... Had a look at doing some stuff for ACTA years ago and couldn't understand where to get started nevermind do anything with it.

There's an ACTA mod for AB3 as well - dont think it's up to date with Armageddon though.

It hasn't been updated for Armageddon, the SFOS update is pretty accurate.

Take a look at the existing stats and base your point costs on them. It seems that both in SST and BF the point costs are based on common sense and playtest results, not calculated using some sort of formula (and that is a good thing).

Up to date?

The skinny list IIRC you have to go to the army options and change its 'type' from Tyrant to Lord to whatever, as it changes the allowed troop types.

Ahh now I get you, yeah the list is fairly upto date, but somethings take a lot of searching to find, such as how to add an extra squad of Exo suits...

The version I have DL is well out then, still only the Tyrant as your command choice.

just when you set the point value there is a button just under points value
then you must set eg. lord army and you have a lord
