I host the GROGNARD RPG files podcast. The latest episode features Taveller and our earliest experiences of playing in the 80s. We've recently started playing again using the Mongoose rules and the Aramis Campaign. We'll be covering some of the supplements I the second part.

Hi All

We are recording the second part of the Traveller Podcast this week. In this part, we will be looking at 5 different classic Traveller supplements.

I'm very conscious that we'll miss peoples favourites. Do you have any good stories about your experiences of playing those early adventures? Annic Nova, Broadsword, Twilight's Peak or one of the many others?

If you have anything to share, then please write to me hear, or comment on the blog site: armchairadventurerblog.com

Let me know what the adventure was, how you played it and why you like it, and I'll read it in the podcast.

Thanks

Chris

Hi Dirk, I loved the Runequest episodes and I've got the Traveller ones queued up. I'm looking forward to them. Thanks for doing the 'cast, it's very well done.

I love the 'Prime Directive', definitely an idea of it's time. We never had that rule explicitly in the circles I gamed in back then, but there certainly was a bit of territorial preciousness about some GMs and the games they GM'd.

I'm going to be at Dragonmeet as well with one of my sprogs in tow.

Hi Simon

Thanks for the kind words.

I enjoyed Dragonmeet. It was a different experience and nice for people to come over to say hello. I was too late to get on the Traveller game, but I did manage to play a D&D game (using some home-brew rules).

How was your day?

Chris

Hi

The second part of the Traveller Episode is now available.

It's about the Traveller supplements from back in the day. We even have a go at making Aslan words!
