Pocket Rulebook

Mongoose
FYI the pocket rule-book has some correction and different art but was just scaled down to the new size. There are wide margins at the top and bottom (about an inch of white space each) on the pages. That blank space could have been used to make the type not so tiny if the layout was tweaked instead of just output at a smaller percent. Also, in my two copies, the bold type runs together now, so it's harder to read.

So what's your review? Thumbs up or down? :)
Do you think I should get the PDF of the full rulebook or the pocket guide?
(The HC version is too pricey.)

If it's a PDF, you could always print it out bigger. For reading on screen, it should be perfectly fine. I bought two copies of this specifically to have on-hand at the gaming table. However, there will be at least one of my players who's eyesight is not good enough to read it.

If there was a hard cover with the errata already corrected, I would rather pay a little more for that then these little ones.

I give it a thumbs down. Now, having said that, the content of all the Traveller stuff from Mongoose it good enough that I will buy it all anyway. As long as they keep making stuff I'll be getting it. So far there are only a couple things that really bug me about this version of Traveller, but the good new rules and materials FAR outweighs any details I may not like.

There is - the latest printing of the hardback is what the Pocket edition was based on!

Is it available to purchase yet?

So does the latest printing of the HC have the powerplant fuel table on p107?
