I have a character who, made from whole cloth, is a 5th level character. 3 levels of Occultist [Magician Vocation] 2 levels of journeyman.
After much debate, and searching these boards, I have determined that he keeps his vocation throughout his career (and there are those here who will disagree).
That said, recently he did some lovely work with a stored fireball, and I have noticed that he is applying his whole character level when making conduit activation check.
I have half a mind to drop this check down by 2, as I am very hard pressed to acknowledge his 2 journeyman levels when he is making his level check.
Would I be too harsh if i did this?
