Playing as President Clarke

Even though ACTA Version 2 is out, I haven't been able to get my book yet... I heard that the EA no longer has the ability to take the Omega-Xs (aka Shadow Omegas)... and that they are now in the Hands of the Psi Corps Fleet.

Is there a way to still build a "Loyal to President Clarke" Fleet, that doesn't rely on the Psi Corps Ships, and that would allow me to keep using my Shadow Omegas, and Loyalist Earth Force Ships?

Well, as Psicorps you can take 2 FAP of Earth Alliance stuff, but other then that not really, unless your playing group feels like house ruling it in.

That is one thing that has been kind of removed from the game. There is now pure EA, and Psi Corps which allows 2 FAPs of EA. There is no "Undercover Evil EA" fleet, if you want Shadow Omegas you have to be using a Psi Corps fleet.

I'm playing clarkists. OK says your oponent, you get the third age EA list, along with Shadow omegas. Jobs a good un, nice and simple.

Assuming the upcoming Mongoose touirney is 5 FAP Raid, you can take your Shadow Omega plus EA ships. The Shadow Omega will take 4 FAP, leaving you 1 for EA ships, legal for the Psi Corps fleet list.

No, there are only Hermes as far as I know.

The Hermes is quite a powerful Patrol level ship, so they can hold their own as well.

The Psi Corps Shadowcloak is a Scout and a viable option, the EA Myrmidon is also a reasonable ship to take to back it up.

I think you misunderstood the show... President Clarke was the good guy. I mean, Sheridan and the rest of his ilk fraternizing with the Minbari and other races... ugh.

Yeah... I'd like to be able to use my Shadow Omegas without having some nosy Psi Cops poking their noses where they don't belong.

There can always be a house rule that you are playing a Fleet Loyal to President Clark and I know you would rather not have Psycops meddling in affairs of the Earth Force.

I say you do use a 3rd age fleet and add in the Omega-X. I wouldnt mind and I dont think much of the group would really get that huffy.

We were thinking of letting League, EA, Minbari, and Narn have an option of taking 1 FAP of ISA to represent the odd whitestar or 2 that patrols an area.

You could simple make a "President Clark" Fleet, just the 3rd Age Fleet with the Shadow Omega in place of the Warlock (I think the Shadow Omega is War level now...).

Still have to be a house rule...

It would've worked if the shadow Omegas could aim... I swear more White Stars are killed by Thunderbolts than the Omegas in that episode.
