Looking at the new PoD I noticed that some very high skill levels, particularly on young (twenties) characters are still there, unchanged from the original edition. The stats don't specifically mention anagathics in most cases but I am presuming that many of these characters are their noted age. (Dr. Jali Astor is particularly egregious - age 24 with 23 skill levels)
Is there any reason why this wasn't fixed to line up with standard character gen? Most standard generated PCs will not come anywhere close to many of these characters. In most cases these NPCs would function just fine with lower skill levels.
