Classic Adventure on the edge of the Imperium during the Fifth Frontier War!
Two spaces for new players have become available in Strictly Business, an ongoing PBP ‘classic campaign’ for Mongoose Traveller. The setting is the OTU during the classic period (1108, the Fifth Frontier War) in the Spinward Marches. The campaign offers both story and sandbox play styles in Glisten & District268. There are a wide variety of story-threaded missions, trading, privateering & adventures.
Much of the setting will focus on operating a starship as a crew who will face difficult choices between legality, ethics and duty. Involved roleplay is expected and rewarded through the House Rules on XP (karma) and Character Improvement.
The current (player) crew are a cybernetic implant specialist (physician), an expert pilot (recovering alcoholic) and a female ex-Imperial Marine commando. They would benefit from a dedicated engineer and a ship's gunner, but almost any careers are allowed provided your character is a team player. Morally flexible (but not reprehensible) characters are an advantage, and uptight or righteous characters are discouraged.
