pak'ma'ra fighters and "Gentle Beings"?

The pak'ma'ra special rules says all their ships get -1 CQ. Does this also apply to their fighters, for both Scanners To Full and Dogfight rolls?

I know by the letter of the rules it says "ships" have -1 CQ, meaning that fighters would have the usual CQ 4... but after the obscure (IMO) Vree dogfight bonus ruling, I thought I'd better check what the official opinion is.

I would think that it applies to Aux Craft as well, but you never can tell.

i would say that similar to the vree telepathy bonus to their fighters the pak gentle beings negative bonus will apply here and is how i intend to play it.

Fighters are not ships, and so this rule will not apply to them.
