Pak'Ma'Ra, Brakiri and Drazi colours

I have Brakiri (assembled and primed black) and Pak'Ma'Ra (waiting for assembling) and I'm going to buy Drazi Fleet. Some Brakiri ships (Ikorta,Halik) and Drazi ships (Sunhawk, Warbird) can also be used for Pak'Ma'Ra. I'd like to paint those ships so that they can be used for either fleet without looking too different. Do you have any other ideas than to use same yellow for details? Should I use some other colour for Pak'Ma'Ra details than red, cause it don't fit well with Brakiri? Any ideas for good colour combinations? I would like to paint the Brakiri green , but I haven't decided Pak'Ma'Ra or Drazi colours yet.

I would use the same yellow for the brakiri details and the main pak'ma'ra color, and then use the green that you use for the brakiri as a detail color on the pak. That would give your ships the same color scheme, only in reverse.

From which manufacturer Ember Orange is from? I have used Vallejo Game Colors. Do you know if there is similiar colour in Vallejo Game Color range?

How about the main colour of Drazi? Grey? Blue? Greyish blue? Pale or dark? I think pale grey was the original colour. I have some EA ships which are grey and I'd like to have different colour for Drazi. On the other hand blue makes me think first Abbai not Drazi, though I don't have any Abbai ships.

It could be close to Vallejo Game Color Gold Yellow which is between yellow and orange.

I do have digital camera, but I don't have a place in web where to show the picture. Besides I know that the flashlight makes the colour look paler than it really is. I made that grey mixing white and black (1 drop white :1 drop black) and then drybrushing it with lighter mix (2 drops white : 1 drop black). So that is why I call it middle grey.

I'm building a League fleet at the moment, and decided to go with green on my Drazi instead of the grey from the show. Fairly basic colour scheme using GW paints - Dark Angels Green basecoat, drybrush with a lighter green, and then use Iyanden Darksun (a deep yellow) to pick out the fusion bulbs and Boltgun Metal and Shining Gold on the weapons and vents.

Decided in the end to paint my Brakiri red. No particular reason behind it other than 'it looks cool'...

I did my Drazi gunmetal, but I'm likely going to go for GW Codex Grey drybrushed over black at some point as that looks closer to the "early CGI pseudo-metallic" colours of the show's. You could likely get away with the gunmetal to represent either Drazi or pak'ma'ra as it's pretty non-specific.

My EA is grey, white and blue. My Vree is silver and blue so far. Don't think it would be good idea to paint the Drazi grey (with blue details). :roll:

I also prefer green to purple, but I like to have my Brakiri green.
