So I guess this beg the question, are Psionics an optional thing or not. To me, that is the real question that is often skirted. If they are not an optional thing, they belong with the Character Generation rules and in the core rule book. If they are just an optional add-on then stick them where ever and it works.
 
I am going to resist this proposal (the internal playtesters have been down this road before!), as I really think they should both be kept away from the 'core' careers.
