Online Game on Saturdays

Mongoose
Hi,

If you are interested in playing Mongoose Traveller online on Saturdays please join our group:

http://groups.google.com/group/saturday-night-traveller

We usually play from 8pm - 11pm GMT.

You can see what time that is where you are here: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?day=11&month=9&year=2010&hour=20&min=0&sec=0&p1=136

Basically if you live on the east coast in the US we start at 3pm and if you live on the west coast we start at mid-day. So that's pretty friendly to everyone each side of the pond ;-)

We are currently using Google Docs to play, here's what's currently happening: https://docs.google.com/document/pub?id=1d3kS0DYw-pYlxAM_BHf_6988Yfsk024IviGv_KGIrmo

We previously were using Google Wave (and playing Classic Traveller), here's one of our earlier games:
http://classictraveller.wordpress.com/2010/01/30/one-crowded-hour-part-1/

So you can see we are very much about co-creating a nice narrative. We've had a pretty stable group for about 6 months but are now down to 3 regular players, so looking for a couple more.

If that's your thing please join in :-)

Rob

Well, 08:00pm GMT = 01:00pm PDT (West coast), 04:00pm EDT (East coast)...

You are thinking of BST not GMT.

Actually, the diff is DST or not.
PST (Pacific STANDARD Time) is GMT-8..
PDT (Pacific DAYLIGHT Time) is GMT-7.

So the STANDARD (aka the Norm, the time without artificial changes, etc.) is GMT - 8.

(from the link posted by robg213)
UTC/GMT Offset
Standard time zone: UTC/GMT -8 hours
Daylight saving time: +1 hour
Current time zone offset: UTC/GMT -7 hours
Time zone abbreviation: PDT - Pacific Daylight Time
