One or Two Handed Weapons?

How can you tell if a weapon is one or two handed? I realize Longsword has specific rules for this, but what about other weapons? The combat example in the core rulebook says Thrace uses a longspear one handed. Is that correct? I would have thought it was a 2H weapon. Thanks for any guidance,

You are correct, the longpear is a two handed weapon. Its an editing error by the publisher. Check the downloads area to get the errata for the core rulebook.

As for telling if its one or two handed, look at the weapon size. Anything that is large (L) or huge (H) is wielded with two hands. Ranged weapons are a bit different, the size refers to the "force" of the projectile.

Yes it was a mistake on my part, that 1H longspear example

Although, in some circumstances I'd allow it - either at a hefty penalty or for the spending of a Hero Point.

I like the penalty and HP idea, having used longspears you can get away with the odd one handed blow so that's a good way of reflecting that. :D

Funny, I thought I killed Glutgrim and his band of broo many years ago....
