Noble Armada

Hello Mr Sunshine :P The new book is more likely intended for adding additional rules (final versions of the playtest stuff out there for scouts, escorts etc) and new fleet lists, not be a new version of the rulebook. That's why it's called book 2.

The PDF/fixed/V2 or whatever you want to call it will need to wait until ADB can find time to spend on it along with Mongoose. Remember they're two small companies with other active product lines to work on. And where are you getting that they'll charge us for rule fixes ? All the previous updates were free to download.

This exactly. The fixes have to wait but a new book has some priority.
How can it be expected than an add-on will sell when the core product has not yet been completed?

1st- sorry Katadder, I am sure the thread bleed was not intentional. as for NA it does need some new goodie soon I hope.

2nd- ACTA:SF book 2, this has been in the works since atleast the beginning of the joint venture (it was stated that there would be atleast 5 books to cover this). we all need to remember that unless you can prove there is something broken matt (or Svc) are not going to make any changes. if you believe something is broken than playtest it, submit reports on the problem along with possible fixes you have tested. the more reports that prove there is a problem and what that problem is the sooner it may get fixed. just saying something is broken without playtest info to prove it will not get either of them to change a thing.

3rd- the pdf, I would not hold your breath waiting for this. Svc is never in a hurry to release pdf's in general.

unless you can prove there is something broken

There have been many, many threads on this.
There is enough info and enough rules suggestions on this board to keep a small army busy just reading through the damn stuff and very little of it went anywhere.

Anyway.. Hail Caesar time. ACTA sits on the shelf.
