Noble Armada Decados pics

So next week my cohorts and I are beginning a Noble Armada campaign. I figured I should invest in the minis and I thought I would share the pictures of my fleet.

Here's the bulk of the main fleet

And the flagship, a mighty Anikrunta Dreadnaught called the Wrath of Kahn. I figure there's gotta be a Decados noble named Kahn who's angry and would want to name a powerful warship after his wrath.

Ok so I'm not a great photographer, still I invite critique.

I wonder if Khan is one of those guys standing behind the ship who is angry at having been left behind? The next ship has to be "The Voyage Home", named for the epic tale of how he walked back to base. :lol:

Are you using an actual camera or a phone camera to take those photos? If it's a camera, I can give you a couple of hints to get better photos if you like.

Are your minis in metal or resin? (The Starline 2500 series stuff seems to be resin from the get-go, but I gather that the ACtA:NA minis started off metl and are only gradually porting over.)

Those minis are metal. I got them from the Decados boxed fleet and the dreadnaught was in its own box.

Actually the rest of the fleet is a tribute to my Fading Suns RPG campaign that we did. the GM had us tooling around Decados space and we had to deal with (and occasionally serve on) various Decados ships. So each ship is named after a corresponding ship of the same type from the game.

For example
The Frigates are the Ninja, The Pina Colada, and The Heidy Ho III
The Light Carrier is the Iron Vulture

So, In my ongoing campaign of Noble Armada, I managed to get a destroyer the upgrade that gives it a new paint job. So We had a little fun with it and allow me to present The Tupok'ta class destroyer: Dixie

You'll notice that it only has one turret. That's because its owner Duke Earl Decados took one turret out to make a BBQ pit. One must have one's priorities straight.
