I agree with torus.
Cepheus Engine is a wonderful standalone game that draws heavily from the rules in 1st edition Mongoose Traveller. As such it is compatible with that and many versions of Traveller. It is in fact far more compatible and interchangeable with those versions than some other (fully licensed) Traveller products, such as Traveller D20.
Hostile is a setting for CE, and by the very nature of CE, is playable with Mongoose Traveller, either edition, if you have them.

That's great. I've ordered Hostile from Lulu I have both editions of MgT, as well as CT and MT, and will probably pick up a copy of CE when available as POD. Madness.
