New Traveller Character and Ship Sheets

It's clearly two sides of A4, though: the bit on the "left" is obviously the back (or second, if your printer is from the 1990s) page.

Um, there are 2 actual pages to each of the pdfs. On the front side of both pdfs, the name and stat information is on the right column and additional information is in the left column. This is the opposite of all traditional character sheets I'm familiar with and is mentally jarring to adjust to when I expect that information on the left column side.

Argh yes: now I see that it's actually A4 (letter for the colonials) on landscape, that's a terrible layout decision, you're right!

One suggestion... to me, it looks messy that the skills without specialties have white space between the skill and the value. I think it would look cleaner if all skills had the dotted line. But that's a very minor point. Well done!

I guess that is to provide space to write in the speciality name.

I quite like the stats on the right side. Reading from left to right, it is like you got to get through all that weapons, armour, augments, to get to know the character. :)

Facebook is unwelcome
Facebook is the entire reason I returned to the fandom and have become a contributor in addition to a customer. So it may be unwelcome for some, and can certainly be an unpleasant place, particularly with its current ownership, it is still very welcoming for some of us.

Facebook is a force for evil in the world.

They do terrible things they do to the brains of those - old and very young - whose time they steal and whose cognitive ability they erode. Zuckerberg is a greedy and self-centred individual who has done a great deal of harm in this world.

There is nothing good on Facebook that didn't originally get done elsewhere, or which couldn't be hosted elsewhere in future. But the network effect of those who do keep using them enables them to keep converting the only life that you will ever have into money.

I use it about once a month now for one specific thing; I do it using an adblocker; and I intentionally do not post any content there any longer, after someone told me "oh, I love your mountain photos: they're the only reason I still use FB". So I stopped that day. And even then, I know that I should (and that I will) soon cut that last tie.

The problem is with the tech bros, is, that they lived long enough to become the villains.

However, with the Zuck, his motto from the outset was Do Evil.

I do think the most admirable thing he did, was, when Musk challenged him to a ring fight, he told him to bring it on.
