New Hyperion

Ah, if only I had known about this a week ago ;.;
Still, I'll now have a way to tell apart my hyperion assaults from my cruiser, and they'll be nicer to build too! ^.^

Is there a list/guide somewhere to the recently re-molded units?

I was surprised to see the Olympus Cruiser got a drastic size reduction (which is a good thing but I recently bought 2 freakin huge ones) on its remodling.

The only other one I can think of is the Vorlon Transport.

j.,

In the description being given, where is Hiff? I would of thought that sore subject would have been brought back up with this group. Oh, I guess I did. :wink:

Yeah, whatever basically. I've stopped playing Drakh, didn't see the point in it really. not overly keen on the front of the hyperion, looks a bit flat. but I won't be buying any anyway so it's not really relevant

You know...

If you have 5 Grand (American) lieing around, you can buy one of the first 3D copy machines available for your home.

Load in the design, load in the cubes of plastic production agent and hit the "Print" button...

I remember the talk of those things in the papers, years back. They said you'd be able to buy designs for things and produce them at home, eliminating a lot of the need for retailers and distribution of products...

Come to think of it, with the Hyperion being withdrawn from sale, will the EA fleet boxes change or be put on hold? How soon will we see this new model?

The new Hyperions look pretty decent but I hope they increase the level of surface detail slightly. The old B5 Wars Hyperions had engraved panel lines on the hull sections but the Mongoose ones just had vast expanses of smooth featureless hull. Lets get some surface texture to work with on the new ones please. :)

I seriously hope that the Tinashi is somewhere on the agenda for a resculpt. The current model is too small compared to the Raid level ships like the Tigara and isn't done to the same level of detail.
