New Glorantha Book is Great, But...

Seconded. The Ralios.pdf is pure gold, and at five bucks it's practically free!

But... but... you say there are no rules in the Glorantha book? That's mostly good (more room for cuture stuff and description), but what about the EWF? When will we get to see how the dragon magic and transformations are handled?

I just got Companion and Rune of Chaos... Can't wait to get Monsters and Glorantha books, but we will start our campaing with just Rulebook+Companion+Rune of Chaos...

Yes, it seems to be. It would have been nice to have it in the book.

Honestly though, I was glad to get the PDF months earlier than the Glorantha book, and it has helped keep my interest in the line.

I was not paying attention to the fine print when I ordered the new Glorantha book. I just assumed it would cover the same familiar ground, with the Lunar Empire getting ready to march down Dragon Pass and start the Hero Wars once more. Worked up for the new game system, of course.

So it was quite a surprise to start reading about the Second Age last night. A very pleasant surprise, actually; and well done to Mongoose and Robin Laws.

I'm assuming (now) that Mongoose will be continuing with Second Age material for Glorantha for Runequest, while Issaries continues with Third Age material for Glorantha for Heroquest. Is this correct?

Issaires is actually not doing the 3rd Age, that was old RQ. Heroquest focuses on the "Hero Wars", that comes after the end of the 3rd Age.

The Hero Wars are what END the Third Age, not what happens after it.

And as far as I know (although I'll be pleased to be corrected on this)...only Greg knows what happens after that.
