New Campaign with some ideas and need help for EarthForce EY

I don't know if its too early for the Earth Alliance Early years but my friend and I are planning on making a scenario for the Belt Wars. Why don't you work on something like that, that would be great for small point ships?

I don't know how this is represented in the game, but wasn't the Hyperion preferable to the Nova in the series?

Hard to tell as Novas only appeared briefly in the show. In that episode, it was being used to invade a planet. Personally I would have given the Nova high Troops and maybe Shuttles 2. Make it out to be a planetary assault ship since that is the role we saw it used in during GROPOS.

That would have been my preffered take on the ship but Mongoose took a different tack.

umm the nova only has 2 inteceptors.

As for my choice. I don't really see the point in the tank much. The EY excel at skirmish with the Olympuses and rail hyperions. I don't see much in the Nova just my opinon.

Considering Starfuries only have 2 twin-linked AD it's really not much of a "waste". Not to mention the fact that turn 1, and maybe even turn 2, will be spent on approach so might as well give the fighters something to do. Games are won by a strategic balance of offense and defense...unless you're playing Dilgar. lol
