New administrator of the link list is wanted

Hello fellow roleplayers!

I have probably left RuneQuest and Glorantha for good, in favour of Basic Roleplaying, and the settings that will appear for that system.

As I am also currently quite busy with administrating and upgrading Basic Roleplaying Central - and the link list on www.runequest.info is not getting the attention and updates it deserves.

It is the biggest link list on the net for RuneQuest, HeroQuest and Glorantha websites, and scores among the top three for Google searches for those type of links.

I am currently looking for someone who would like taking over maintaining the link list. The domain, www.runequest.info, expires next year, and can be taken over fully then. If you are interested, contact me by email on sverrelarne [at] hotmail [dot] com.

I've PM'd options. If someone else is interested, please don't let that stop you - your option/s may be better.
I just don't want to see the list disappear.

I'm suggesting glorantha.org.uk as the new place for the list OR, if it turns out right for me taking over the domain, but not the hosting, then the url stays the same.

Hi Carrotix! No OGL for Basic Roleplaying. BUT, Chaosium's works are mainly written by freelancers, and they have repeatedly now asked for people to contact them and submit projects for the BRP system. So it's mostly written by freelancers, but published through Chaosium. Several are in the works now. There is also the option of licensing the system for 3rd party publishers, something which Seraphim Guard have done for their upcoming DeadWorlds game.

Another option is to put it onto the MRQ Wiki. I certainly can't maintain it in all the languages you do...!

But the links are for HeroQuest, old RuneQuest, HeroWars, gloranthan board & coputer games and pure gloranthan websites too. The MRQ links are just one part of the list. It's more of a system-unspecific Glorantha link list than anything else. You're more than welcome to pull over the MRQ links to the wiki though (and I can only remember one non-english MRQ link on the list).

The link list at http://www.runequest.info have been slimmed down to a glorantha-specific link list. RuneQuest, Mongoose RuneQuest, HeroWars, Hero Quest, Board games, Publishers, Pure glorantha sides, Miniature sites, and any other site with glorantha stuff on it is included. It is the most complete Glorantha link list online.

The BRP link list at http://basicroleplaying.com aims to be the most complete BRP/D100 link list. MRQ links are added there as we speak.

Chris holden is about to take over the Gloranthan link list, while I'll continue on with the BRP/d100 link list. I hope they will both be of use to you. 8)
