I need some ideas for a single player adventure.
My friends wife is leaving for a few days and we are starting to new campaign that she will join next week.
Some background:
The character is a former spy for a mega corporation.
He is currently using a cover identity because the CEO tried to have him killed.
He has occasional dreams about missions that he never was involved with, sometimes resulting in his death.
What he doesn't know is that he is a clone.
Only one clone of a particular model is kept functional (alive) by the corporation at any one time because they psychically link with one another causing major security concerns.
(His dreams are from the other clones)
A new model is hatched when the old one dies but sometimes if the operative is not in the proper strategic position for a new assignment then they simply terminate the current model and deploy the new one.
(This explains the "CEO tried to kill you" roll during character generation...)
When the wife gets back I plan to do the following adventures:
Kinunir
Alien type monster in the ship when they go to take the measurements
Foodrunner
The ship has a ragged 10 year old girl (looks like a boy) stowaway on board and a decomposed dead body in one of the lowberths (A clone of the character)
Honor The Fallen
With the addition: "That was the old technology, now they use clones for the personality overlays..." (A hint)
Right now I could use one or two spy adventure ideas suitable for a single character.
It's perfectly OK if it has impossible odds and the character dies.
If he succeeds then it will be his character. If he dies then it was a clone and he wakes up from a nightmare.
A fully flushed out adventure is preferred.
JTAS articles etc. are fine.
We play on Monday August 15th.
Thanks!
