Do Psionic shields, either natural or artificial, prevent a neural activity sensor from picking the shielded person up? Thanks.

I suspect a natural shield might be undetectable but an artificial one might be like a jammer, you know something is there, just not what it is. Just my opinion.

If the rules don't say, I'd rule that it's a skill roll for Electronics (Sensors). But you don't get the roll automatically -- the sensor operator needs to be looking for a masked target. If a person with natural shields consciously hides from artificial detection, the sensor roll is opposed, with a heavy advantage to the natural shields.

Hmm, came across this interesting gem in 1e Book 6 Scoundrel, page 58: NAS Sweep: A Neural Activity Sensor sweeps a building or other zone for neural activity. The brainwave patterns of authorized staff and visitors are programmed into the NAS Sweep, so any thoughts detected that do not match these patterns are tagged as belonging to unwelcome intruders. NAS Sweeps can penetrate walls and other physical obstacles.
A NAS Sweep can be avoided by psionic conditioning, by a Neural Hood (see page 82) or Neural Sheathe or by staying close to powerful EM sources such as power cables that mask the thief’s brainwaves.
