My upcoming 10 point Armageddon ISA fleet (No allies needed)

Hi all,

Well when I email my order in later I will be completing a 10 point Armageddon ISA fleet (Once I get, build and paint the minis)

And here it is in all it's glory, split point by point:

1) Victory
2) Victory
3) Victory (Yes I have 3 of these, 2 from the 1E fleet box, 1 from an S&P subscription gift)
4) Tara'Lin, 2 White Star Gunships
5) 2 White Star Carriers
6) 2 Tara'Lins
7) Another 2 Tara'Lins
8) 7 White Stars, 2 Nolo'Tars
9) 7 White Stars, Nolo'Tar, Liandra
10) 12 Blue Stars and some fighters

I'll have enough minis to fill the hangars, and worst case, more than enough Furies and T'bolts to make up 6 patrol points worth to fill out the 10th Armageddon point.

But that's a lot of painting, I mean there's 9 flights of Flyers, 24 flights of Nials and 42 flights of Furies/Tbolts to paint to fill that fleet out.

You realize, that as a consequence for procrastinating on painting for so long... you have to keep a online painting journal for your ISA progress, right?

For the starfuries, I did basic silver and a stripe of color down the center. Who's going to get THAT close to look at fighters anyway.

As for the Minbari, I just went with a metalic blue paint on the whole thing. It's so faint that it looks like shades of blue and white.

White primer on the fighters. Ink them then just dry brush or small detail touchups.
Nials look good with a blue ink wash, followed by a dry brushing of blue metallic

I'll need to work on paintring techniques for battle damage, one of my Sharlins ahs a damage dpod, but then Mongoose did replace it with another whole Sharlin, so I ain't complaining.

But I might as well field it.

So, any ideas on how to allocate these ships to 'squadrons' for best effect. Don't need to actually Squadron them as per game rules, but group them off to assist each other in game.

e.g. give each VCD a Nolo'Tar for Escort.
