I don't know if you do requests, but there is an NPC-band of such Vargr-traders/Corsairs in my campaigns that wends its way down from the Federation of Rukh in Gvvurdon to the Zhodani Borders to trade, and sometimes *visits* the non-aligned and Imperial worlds in the coreward edges of Jewell, Regina, & Aramis subsectors.
They are led by a Suedzekh (red-furred) wily Corsair/ Trader named Montezgvaegh Suedvhaegh, who commands an 800dton Vargr Frigate (he does have a 'commission' from the Rukh as a paramilitary/ privateer vs the Rukh's enemies)--but instead of a pair of Vargr 40dton heavy Ftrs, he packs 4 of the 20dton Strike Ftrs; in his small 'flotilla', two of his littermate siblings (sisters) command a pair of 200dton Vargr Ngusku Armed Traders; His 'uncle', Gharraekh '9-claws' commands a Koghue Armed Junk ship; Montezgvaegh's neice and one nephew (on from each of his littermate sibs) command a pair of Ueknou-class 400dton Corsairs.
The freighters are generally seen escorted by the frigate; the junk-ship is usually one-jump behind them. while the two corsair vessels prowl. When Montezgvaegh makes a show of force, he summons the entire band.
Thus far the players (Humans with a pair of Vargr aboard) have encountered only the first trio with the screen of fighters as they left port for the jump point.
Montezgvaegh's color scheme is black/ red/ orange/ yellow--heavy on the red. The Sibs, Rahaerkha & Naerou use black/ white/ purple/ green in their schemes; Ghaerrekh's vessel is a motley of colors, signifying his trade visually to any who encounter his ship 'Bone-Collector'; the nephew & neice tend to follow Montezgvaegh's scheme, save the neice uses orange as her primary color; the nephew uses black as his.
Dunno if that's a tall order or not, but while we were on the topic of Vargr-Vikings, thought I'd share an in-game example.
