Sort-of already mentioned by others, but:

Something Firefly-like (but not too like, so as to not infringe on copyrights).

Something dystopian (for Bladerunner, cyberpunk, and X-files material).

Something along the space-feudal line (for Dune-like material) (might be an acceptable setting for Firefly-like material as well).

7th Sea-like expansion to Conan (for swashbuckling in bronze-age settings).

Expansions to Starship Troopers: (1) Aliens, and (2) Ship design.

For SST ship design, I'd like to see something like B5 ship design ported over.

Ah, rpg wish list. That probably will not happen with starship troopers, as it isbeing used for spacequest, a different system, for the next edition.

Ah, really? Well, I'm just compulsive when it comes to "this thing ought to be more complete", so as long as it has something, I can be content.

I was thinking B5, simply because:

(1) it already exists,
(2) and Mongoose owns it,
(3) and the ships seem close-enough to SST that the system could probably be used with a minimum of additions/replacements.

But, perhaps there's something more suitable. No worries, then.

You know, there's another SpaceQuest-type rules set bring crafted, called TransLight, inspired by BRP/RQ3.
