MRQ2 and insanity.

I may have missed something somewhere.
I have the MRQ2 core rules and the Elric RPG for MRQ2.
In the Elric book it mentions insanity here and there, like "Seeing Stormbring used in combat for the first time causes 1D8 insanity.
And "Dreamtheft can reduce insanity".

But for the like of me I can't find any rules in those books that actually TELLS you how insanity works.
There's lots of references to it in the books , but nothing that actually describes the insanity system.

HELP!!! It's driving me mad!!! ;)
*gains 8 insanity points* (Whatever that means!)
 
I'm sure I have an MRQ1 book that talks about insanity, maybe it's in there.
Still it would be nice to know how it works in MRQ2.
Since both the MRQ2 core book and the Elric book refere to insanity, you'd think the rules for it would exist in either of them.

I'm not that keen on having to buy another book for the purposes of finding out how insanity works in MRQ2.
 
I have the Elric Companion (For MRQ1).
I bought all the MRQ1 books ages ago.
I can see insanity is described in there.

Are the MRQ2 rules for insanity (seemingly in the Necromantic arts book) the same as the insanity rules in the Elric companion for MRQ1?
