Just wondering if we've read the rule book wrong:
The book states:
When nominated to move, every ship must be moved a distance
in inches between its Speed score and half this amount. All
movement must be in a straight line forward.
I've taken this to mean that ships must move at least half their movement on their existing course before doing any turns.
Rereading today I'm no longer convinced that my interpretation is right althought the example give in the book does seem to support this interpretation
