No, as far as I know its the final version - if you playtest for Mongoose they generously give you a copy when its finished. See the stickied thread:

We require a number of playtest groups for all our lines. This is not a paid position but each group will receive one copy of the product they have playtested in return for every usable playtest report we receive.

If you are interested, please PM me with your contact details and the name of the line/s you are interested in playtesting. Please ensure you are familiar with the relevant rules system before applying.

Just got my copy in the post today. It is rather magnificent looking. Haven't had a chance to look at much of the content yet as I'm at work but it feels quite substantial without being a massive tome.

Looking forward to reading it properly.

btw, the printed copy has the luck rune on the front, not the fate one as shown on the mongoose site.
