Don't forget Range: At Very Distant range the sensor task becomes Formidable, almost the same as DM -6 (HG p24).

A Sub-Command Centre can give an additional +1 DM (Element Class Cruiser).

A Sensor Lock gives a Boon on the sensor task (Core p161).

Most of us already know this, but not all sensor checks are for detection, thus some equipment might help only detection or electronic warfare (countermeasure suit) or does not stack with other modifiers (countermeasure suit).
