I like the Telekinesis spell from Deus Vult. In fact I like quite a few of the spells from Deus Vult, and am planning on including them in my pulp fantasy game. There were some tweaks I feel the Telekinispell needs.
Currently the STR and DEX of the spell's effect is based on the STR and DEX of the sorcerer. Since the spell is mental in nature, I think the STR and DEX of the spell should be based on the sorcerer's POW and INT scores respectively. Rather than doing a multiplier, for each 10% of the Sorcery (Grimore) score the sorcerer can add either +1 to the STR or DEX of the spell.
I am on the fence on this last bit. I mentioned the STR and DEX of the spell was based on the sorcerer's POW and INT scores, but what about 1/2 of those scores instead? That would tone down the power level a bit, and make me more comfortable with players having access to the spell.
