Mobile Infantry Fort

awsome job i think. i havent started yet but im think about getting into light MI can anyone send me any templates for forts and stuff to my email at sethlippa@msn.com plz .

Yeah Hiromoon, the card-stock stuff can be very functional. When I made my causeway section to connect my two SST card-stock pieces together, I made it from gridded architectural plastic. After I took this photo, I ended up bending the walls of the causeway to fan out like you did as well. It helped when placing the infantry models on it. It also looks more cool angled outwards 8). I also made up some step pieces that infantry models can run up and down using regulation movement. Your cardstock "joiners" are as good as what I made up from plastic. :)

Thanks Bu!

MI_Trooper, you'll find some of the templates in the main boxed set, though the "wall" sections are from the map set released for the RPG. I'll see about scanning them in and mailing them to you.

You got any bigger pics of that fort Bu? It looks fairly cool but can't really see much detail with these shoddy eyes I got :(

And you don't have permission to use my affectionate shortened version of my forum name when you are making fun with me, either, lol.

Actually, I down-sized the photo twice on Photobucket and it still viewed the same, so it's not as if I didn't try . But instead (just for you), I have a bigger view of the surrounding game table just to show you what happens when you try a wry crack like the previous one (which I use btw all of the time).

Appologies to Hiromoon for hijacking his thread. You can blame cordas if you wish. :D

The thing that I like best about your little mod of the "fort piece" included in the boxed game is that with your roof added it looks more like a bunker :D.

Yeah! Isn't it great! My opponent was having issues with the bunkers not looking like bunkers.

We also played with the bunker rule for SST v1.0. Bunkers are a double edged sword, but now you don't have to worry about your men dieing in that bowl.

Don't make me send my infiltrator after you! :D

I think it's already in those "Honeypots" just waiting patiently . Besides if Hiromoon's troops need a "Loo" I can lend his troops one of mine-

Unisex, and maybe even for Arachnid Infiltrators before they reveal. After all, when you gotta go you gotta go! Besides, it makes more room inside for the Bug in case it's a tight fit, heh.
