Minbari Valen-class cruiser - ideas? (Lost Tales spoilers)

Hi!

One interesting thing to come out of the new Lost Tales DVD is the advent of the Valen-class cruiser, the latest addition to the Minbari Federation's stellar navy:

So, assuming that we'll get a nice metal model of the ship for ACTA sooner or later, anyone have ideas as to how the ship should be scaled alongside, say, a Sharlin, and also how best to represent the new ship class on the tabletop?

It looks pretty small, given the size of the starfuries.

it certainly does yes. I would hazard a guess it is a lot smaller than a sharlin, in fact it looked little bigger than the Vorchan. maybe a raid ship

I would of said its an ISA Valen MK 2

the Valen class in Legend was a diplomatic cruiser, the first one, and it died (i think it was one of a kind)
the one in The lost tales is reffered to as a cruiser, and as it carries sheridan around, I suspect that it is the mk 2, but entirely Minbari built and designed, whereas the mark 1 was cleary naff and designed by some drunk earth force engineers.

Pretty radical departure from previously-seen Centauri ships. No smooth elegance in that ship, and it looks alarmingly like the redesigned Romulan Warbird in Nemesis... :?

It certainly looks more agressive than ships before - which I think fits into the whole arc of the Centauri becoming a beaten, remorseful, bitter people (and being under the influence of the Drakh might have had a word in it, too. They ARE still under the Drakh influence in TLT, right?)

apart from that, those pics are awesome - can´t wait to get my copy of the DVD (only about 25 days to go... :? )

Fast, well protected with best Minbari's have to offer, little weaponry, maybe flight or two of nials, command bonus of some sort.

Maybe some sort of raid level command ship.

If it's a Minbari ship then why does it have Starfuries? I thought it was ISA/IA?
