MI or Arachnids

I was thinking of getting some Starship troopers miniatures and starting my own army and I was wondering, which side do you recommend I should focus on: MI or Arachnids?

Well, it really depends on personal preference. Do you like the idea of static defenses or a fluid force. Do you like hordes of units or a few specialized troops? Do you want flexibility through various troop types or flexibilitye through individual specialization? Which armies do you like the look of best?

How much money do you have to spend? MI are fewer in number and cheaper. But nothing spreads fear like a bug horde.

I personally like the bugs because they are a greater challenge.

Skinnies are a good option too. A lot of players glaze over them because they weren't popularized by the movie. That leaves them at a disadvantage of not knowing thier abilities/tactics. And if you are on a budget, I've found that you can get Skinnies at 75% off at a few retailers online via clearance sales.

Imo MI are more fun, especially that they too can be tooloed up to one's preferences, ranging from few specialised units to swarms of light infantry.

That being said, if You can't decide try playing few games with different, proxied armies and see what fits Your style best.

I say MI because they are my favourite army. You got all the different platoons, and nifty models.

Bugs for the win. Nothing impressess and attracts people more to looking at the game than seeing the massive plasma bugs and tanker bugs... and sheer numbers of warriors.
