Maximum ENC

Is there any limit for the maximum ENC that could carry an adventurer in RQII?
I haven't seen nothing about it.
You can carry up to your STR+SIZ before being overburdened and taking a penalty to physical activities. Page 59, "Encumbrance".

The ENC rules are on p59 of the Core Rules. Summarised here:

A character may carry a total ENC less than their STR+SIZ without penalty.
A character carrying over this limit is Overloaded and suffers -20% to all tests requiring physical actions, including Fatigue tests.
Overloaded characters also have their Movement halved.

I don't have the rule book with me at the moment, but I don't remember seeing any maximum limit mentioned.

I know that you are Overloaded if you carry more than STR+SIZ. My question is about the maximum enc that a player can carry with penalty.

I scanned the rules again last night and no maximum is mentioned at all.

I would suggest a rule of thumb limit of around STR+SIZ x2 (or x3 at most). Anything beyond that and you could say your restricted to half movement and no other actions or double the penalties for being overloaded.

I just tell my players no when they are trying it on.

Anything too large or too heavy is a flat out no. Lots of bits of armour and weapons. Well I would use "double overloaded" to penalize them even more. If they get to triple overloaded then it will be a no if they try to carry even more.

I'm even more harsh than the rules for overloaded. I attach situational modifiers to stuff like sneak and athletics if they carry stuff that would make it more difficult.

Fortunately I have good players who don't want to carry around all their clan's worldly possessions (including the kitchen sink) on their back. None of them are even close to overloaded.

I found this page 36:
Brawn (STR+SIZ)
Brawn is used where physical force (pushing, pulling and lifting)
needs to be implemented; forcing a jammed door, for instance, or
pulling a cart free of a rut in the road.
A character can lift up to his STR x1.5 in SIZ without making a
Brawn roll
. As a mass equivalent, 1 point of SIZ equals, roughly,
5 kilogram
s.
For SIZ and mass above this, the character needs to succeed in a
Brawn roll and if successful he can lift up to three times his STR. If
the roll is a critical success, then up to five times STR can be lifted.
If the Brawn roll is fumbled, the character risks injury: he
must make a successful Resilience roll or sustain 1D3 points
of damage to the Chest Hit Location (armour does not protect
against this damage).
So a character with STR 10 have a limit of 75 kg (10(STR)x1.5x5kg)??

If 1 SIZ=5 ENC, a character with STR 10 could lift 10x1.5=15 SIZ which is the same that 75 ENC :?: , aprox 92-99 Kg? It should be incorrect because a riding horse can carry 50 ENC without penalty (And I do not know which is the ENC of a character)
How is it supposed to be?
