Decades ago, someone made a Traveller adventure that was definitely ALIEN influenced including three stages of development. I wish I could remember where I read it,. Most like one of many Traveller magazines.

The classic adventures The Chamax Plague and its sequel, The Chamax Horde were stated as Alien-inspired. Plague is still one of my favorite campaign-starting adventures.

Oh I know the Chamax scenarios very well and they're great. The one I'm thinking is more ALIEN. Must go through all my back issues of all the Traveller magazines.

Or you could just get 'Cowboys and Xenomorphs'. One of the species presented is a dead-ringer for the Alien.
