Matching Spines

Mongoose
Hello,

I am interested in rebuying books 1, 2, and 4 but was wondering if they are all the taller books with the rounded spine. I want all my books to match on the shelf.

Thanks,
Scott

Hi,

I posted this message on RPG Net a few days ago:

[Lone Wolf Gamebooks] Print Quality

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I (and others) have been pretty vocal on here in the past months about the quality of Mongoose's Lone Wolf gamebooks. We all know that they've had their problems and eventually decided to use another party rather than their own print production facilities.

I picked up a copy of the latest instalment (Book 5: Shadow on the Sand) as I was impressed by the vast improvement in print, binding, and overall look so I thought it was only fair to share the positive experience here as in my opinion they're now worthy of purchase if you wish to start collecting them.

I also e-mailed Matt yesterday regarding ordering older books and here's a transcript with his confirmation:

Hi there,

All books are indeed in this new design.

So, it seems that even the older books (if ordered now) are in the new improved design. Which is great news for all of us that were put off initially!

Just though to let people know in case they didn't already...

Hope that helps.

So now we need to wait for book 3 to have section 192 put back in then I'd gladly buy books 1-4 again to get matching spines (provided they're problem free :).
