Master of War Tournament Pack

If it happens in my game, I'm going to see if the other opponent agrees to playing the normal CTA. I think 90% of people, are going o say yes in the tourney (its less of a headache)

Its probably good for a Campaign, but since you are playing a tourney and you have between 90-120 minutes. You are going to find time is going to be against you.

what sorta table will we be playing on mostly, so i can theme my bases acordingly :)

Just something to think about...

Even the MOST compact warrior bugs are about 2"x2", and even with the fanciest of clumping, it's nearly impossible to get more them closer than taking up an average of 1.5"x1.5".

Now for math.... In Sweep and clear, you have 6"x48" deployment zone...

That's enough room for about 128 Warrior bugs if there is open terrain in the entire deployment zone, you have short legged Warriors, AND you pack them in as tight as possible. More likely, you'll have a variety, so let's say 2" is the average amount of room, and now we're down to room for only 72 Warrior bugs. Then take into account some impassable terrain taking up about 10% of the area, and we have room for 65 models, and then throw in a big bug that can be about 4"x8", and we only have room for about 55 models.

I don't know about other bug players, but my army would never fit in this area without having warriors crawling on top of my plasma bug (my main list being about 55 Workers, 10 firefries, bout a dozen hoppers, and a couple big bugs). Even my 1500pt army would have trouble on this board.

I know this is just one tournament, but just some food for thought about that scenario.

ST 4) Interceptors? If there is no roll to hit, how do these come into play?

You are still hit, even if you are not rolling. . .

WT 1) AP and Super AP have no effect? (No roll to hit)

If you are not rolling. . .

WT 2) Anti Fighter, presumably counteracts Dodge if Dodge applies?

You get your normal. . . you get the idea.

WT 3) Beam is useless? (No roll to hit, so no reroll for additional hits) Or does Beam bypass Interceptors (If Interceptors apply?)

Yes and yes.

WT 4) E-Mine as notrmal, beating Stealth?

Normal benefits. . .

WT 5) Presumably Gravitic Shifter only counts if used in anger, to use it to turn a ship would constitute a real attack and so the gloves come off?

WT 6) Mini-Beam, still gets AF and non Interceptable?

You are trying to read too much into the scenario. All traits play as normal :)

can i use to forces comprising of t forces for example a Mi ppower armour platoon with a Light armour platoon ? keeping and operating each platoon as a seperate force forming one force ?

I'm very tempted. Very, Very tempted. I probably dont have enough models though. If you recieve an order from me, I imagine it will be for that reason. Maybe in the future. If Reborn starts playing SST again, I will get this force to face his MI.
