Massive Traveller Reprint - Any Changes?

I think it should have all errata corrections in place, better examples in places actually explaining the right stuff.

Something else that would be nice to see is in the High Guard reprint that all of the collected new ship systems and add-ons be included in a single book.

I was thinking the best way to handle something like this (as far as collecting suggestions and errata from the peanut gallery) would be to tackle one book at a time, open up a thread for that specific book and put everything in there. At least then it would be a little bit more organized.

I think you really have to consolidate ship design and weapons, because I'm still trying to make sense of it all, especially fixed mounts and internal missile capacity.

You may also want to reconsider Interceptor MkIII at thrust 12 (which I consider unhealthy), and power plant F, which shouldn't be able to pump out enough juice for a beam laser. T&G page 36.

When rewriting the sensors portion of the spaceships, and potentially handheld and vehicle mounted ones, be sure to update them for ranges
For example you would have a civilian ship sensor at TL 9 (for example), which is 1 ton and 50000 CR, providing -1 DM for all sensor usage within "long range" whatever you decide that is, and -2 ad very long, then -3 at distant and does not scan at very distant and more.
Then you would also have a TL 10 civilian sensor which has the same tonnage (1 ton), but is 100000 CR and provides +0 DM within Long Range, -1 at Very Long, -2 at Distant and -3 at Very Distant, but does not scan beyond Very Distant.

It would be enormously helpful if you were to rework the entire Robot creation rules in Book 9; with specifics of how slots work for a start. There are a lot of other glaring inconsistencies and outright contradictions within the system, most of which I lack the time to point out. I believe there are reams of specifics on the reviews on DriveThruRpg (very constructive and non-rants, for the most part) if you would care to peruse them (there are only about 5, after all). The original print has no examples of how to apply the complex, yet still staggeringly vague rules (I suspect because the authors didn't even know how to make them work at the time, yet still managed to give the whole thing a green light).
