Since my players are low level, and we've been doing a lot of role playing during our sessions (not a single real fight yet!), I have a question to clarify about the Massive Damage rule.
Is that 20+ points of damage you take AFTER damage reduction from armor is applied or before.?
For example, if you are hit with 21 points of damage, but your armor soaks up 3 points of that damage, reducing it to 18 points, you avoid having to make the Massive Damage check, right?
